Sharona Eliassaf
Sharona Eliassaf (B. 1980) is an American and Israeli painter who lives and works both in Telaviv. She received her BFA in Fine Arts from the Bezalel Academy of art and design, Jerusalem in 2004 , her MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, New York in 2011 and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Maine in 2011.In 2017 she has exhibited her work in a solo exhibition at Hezi Cohen Gallery, Telaviv. Her work had been shown in the 2012 biennial exhibition at the Queens Museum of Art, New York, Braverman Gallery Telaviv, E.tay Gallery New York, NurtureArt New York, Trestle Projects New York, Beverly’s New York, Transmitter Gallery New York, September Gallery New York and Hashimoto Contemporary, San Francisco among others. In the spring of 2018 Sharona Eliassaf will be participating in the exhibition “The Beyond:Georgia Okeeffe and Contemporary Art” at the Crystal Bridges Museum, AK which will travel to the North Carolina Museum of Art,NC and the New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticut in 2019.
